Yukinori Okamoto
Founder & CEO, Goof Inc.
Print EvangelistYukinori is a Japanese entrepreneur and print evangelist who has spent nearly three decades exploring how printing can evolve in a digital-first, globally connected society.
Since 1996, he has worked at the intersection of digital technology, data, and print, participating in a wide range of print transformation projects across industries. Rather than viewing print as a standalone medium, his work focuses on redefining printing as a connected service—one that links the internet, physical experiences, and sustainable value creation.
In 2012, He co-founded goof Inc., where he leads the planning, design, and management of enterprise-level businesses and services utilizing digital printing technologies. In 2021, goof launched a printing platform built on the principles of “right place, right time, and right quantity,” supporting global brands beyond Japan and addressing challenges such as overproduction, logistics, and environmental impact.
Approximately half of goof’s business is driven through international partnerships, reflecting Yuki’s long-standing engagement with global markets and communities. He has served for many years as a Global Board Member of Dscoop, contributing to its expansion across Asia, and in 2024 received the Jack Glacken Award in recognition of his commitment to the global print community.
Through his work, Yuki continues to explore how print can remain relevant in the New Normal—not by competing with digital media, but by integrating with it. He actively connects Japan with the world, collaborating with global partners to imagine new market structures where print supports people, society, and the planet.
